Participating in the Network
If you want your name added to the Ψk email list, please register to the Psi-k Portal.
Collaborating in the Network
- You are welcome to participate in the Network if the other scientists concerned are interested in your collaboration: ask them. The Network can pay for your participation. It is important that you acknowledge in your papers the Network support.
- To circulate the abstracts of your papers is of course a contribution which
we value. This should be one page only, as a Latex
file, sent to
,
giving title etc. and abstract of the paper, where submitted to, approximate
date, and how a full copy of the preprint may be obtained either electronically
or on paper.
- It is planned to have in 2010 a major European and world-wide international conference with contributed talks and/or posters as well as invited talks, covering the whole field of electronic structure calculation in condensed matter. It will be open to all. This will be the successor to the extremely successful Schwäbisch Gmünd Conferences in 1996, 2000 and 2005.

Acknowledgement in Publications
The Network should be acknowledged as often as possible to secure future funding. This covers not only direct funding of the Network for collaborative visits, but also if your publication has resulted from a code which was obtained through a hands-on course organised by the Network.
The formula for Network acknowledgement is: This work has benefited from the collaboration within (and was partially funded by) the Ψk network. If Network funds were used include the text in the first line which is in brackets, otherwise omit this.
Also a preprint/reprint of a paper acknowledging the Network should be mailed to Walter Temmerman, Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington WA4 4AD, UK.
